Hi

I need to create the with the client program such situation  that it could to terminate SIGN-ON telnet session after issuing the  TELNET command

Is it possible  ?

( I need this program to be run in a batch mode )

Interesting idea since TELNET is an interactive application - what exactly are you trying to accomplish?

The Virtual Terminal API's will allow you to create a session and run in programmatically...

If you specify *SIGNOFF for the initial menu of the users profile - once the job completes it should sign the user off automatically - don't kow if this helps or not...

I would run the SIGNOFF ENDCNN(*YES) command from your scripted telnet session to end the telnet.
