Hello

Please help me with following issue :

one of our customers has the JDE application updatting data in file located on iSeries. Most of fields in this file are GRAPHICAL

type having CCSID = 13488.

My question is - does it possible to display / print on iSeries the values stored in such fields in the same way as they are seen in JDE application ?

Thank in advance

Eli

Excuse me, I'm not familiar with JDE, but...    is the data actually encoded in 13488?  Or is it just labelled as 13488, but encoded differently?

The reason I ask -- if the data is encoded in 13488, that's an extremely well known encoding supported by virtually everything, so I'm wondering where you are stuck?   On the other hand, since it sounds like your application shows/prints fine, (and presumably runs on IBM i) but your own programs do not, that makes me wonder if JDE is not labelling the fields according to their actual encoding?
