Hi,

We have a java-based front-end which is connecting to our IBM-i server. To ensure proper auditing, our Java-app users have a corresponding user profile in the IBM-i. All works fine except when the password interval has been reached. At this point, the java program calls a CL program which uses the CHGUSRPRF command to change the password. The password change works but for some reason, the last login date is not getting updated. I do not have access to the Java app source so my options are limited to changing the CL responsible for the password change. I tried a SBMJOB after the CHGUSRPRF in the hope that this will simulate a login from the user. Unfortunately, this also did not update the last login date. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Titus

Hi Titus,

The Change Previous Sign-On Date (QSYCHGPR) API will set the current user profile's previous sign-on date and time - you can find more information here:
